Our Mobile & Field Shelters

All our field shelters are supplied fully lined to give your precious animals extra comfort, and also to provide additional insulation. They also ideal buildings for hay stores, feed stores and even timber tractor stores.

Our Field shelters provide excellent shelter not only against the wind & rain in winter but against the sun and insects in summer.

In most circumstances, Mobile field shelters will not require planning permission (if you are unsure about the situation, we have an in house Equestrian Planning & Design consultant who will be more than happy to advise you) Field shelters, or a mobile field shelter are very cost effective and with no concrete base required, the groundwork for the field shelters is minimal.

Mobile or Static?
All our mobile timber stables, mobile buildings & mobile field shelters are constructed onto sturdy, galvanised metal box section skids, galvanised rather than painted for long life, box section for ease of towing. The skids are fitted with towing rings at each end and heavy-duty chain to enable the mobile stables to be towed, using a suitable vehicle. Where the stables are in an exposed location it can be secured through the towing eyes (with the metal stakes provided).

Mobile timber stable specifications are generally as our Premier range with a 2 ft roof overhang. They are fully lined to the eaves in llmm OSB, the roof is constructed onto OSB decking both essential for structural rigidity for towing.

We have not compromised the strength and durability of the mobile stable in order to achieve the mobility.

Need your field shelter to be mobile? We have the ideal solution.
All our mobile field shelters are constructed onto sturdy, galvanised metal box section skids, galvanised rather than painted for long life, box section for ease of towing. The skids are fitted with towing rings at each end and heavy-duty chain to enable the mobile field shelters/stables to be towed, using a suitable vehicle. Where the field shelters/stables are in an exposed location it can be secured through the towing eyes.

We are able to custom-make the size and design of the mobile field shelters / stables to suit your own requirements, be it open fronted, stable fronted or even with a tack room attached.

We have also erected garages, workshops and pavilions on skids to make them mobile where planning was proving problematic.
